Fresh Shrimp with Pickled Marinade (Zao Lu Shrimp) Recipe

Fresh Shrimp: 500 grams
Pickled Marinade (Zao Lu): 1 bag


1. Clean 500 grams of fresh shrimp.


2. Bring a pot of water to a boil, and add 3-4 slices of ginger and scallion segments.


3. Once the water is boiling, add the fresh shrimp.


4. Cook until the shrimp change color and turn golden, then continue cooking for 1-2 minutes.


5. Remove the shrimp from the pot.


6. Prepare one bag of pickled marinade (Zao Lu).


7. Cut open the bag and pour the marinade directly into the container holding the shrimp.


8. Cover the container and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.


9. After 2 hours, remove from the refrigerator and enjoy the sweet and savory Zao Lu Shrimp!
